Bharatanatyam: Indian Classical Dance Workshop

Bharatanatyam is the oldest Indian classical dance form. It combines body movement with facial expressions and storytelling to create an immersive experience for the dancer and the viewer. The dance is considered a meditative experience with body movements and facial expressions used to convey messages and stories. Traditionally called "temple dance," this art form also delves into ancient Hindu mythology and portrays stories ranging from magical to mundane social situations that remain relevant to this day.
