Shake out your sillies with song, nursery rhymes, puppet shows, instruments, and, of course, a dance party! Each class begins with a breathing exercise before transitioning into music and movement activities. Taught by Eliza Adams, a Maryland preschool teacher and musician, this class is designed for children 5 and under. Caretakers are welcome to join or watch!

Open Minds After-School Art Club youth create awe-inspiring artwork. We teach students creative problem-solving techniques and use the arts to develop critical thinking skills. Teaching includes hands-on art projects, tours through our galleries, and visits with CA resident artists. Open Minds participants create works of art. These projects include fine arts, cooking, and performance.

Campers begin their day with yoga and mindfulness practice in Patterson Park. They’ll create extravagant projects at enrichment time from traditional Mexican art, to clay building and printmaking. We’ll watch a movie in our theater, and cook with our Artesanas.
