This drop-in figure drawing course is suitable for all skill levels. Untrained new artists will learn multiple approaches to figure drawing while seasoned artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills and further train their eye. Each class will feature a nude model and begin with quick gesture poses. The remaining time will be spent on the artistry of longer poses. The goal is to train all artists to more quickly and fluidly capture the gesture of the entire figure.

Their sound together captivates listeners through intricate and interactive dynamics between the banjo and the fiddle.
Learn to make your own pasta, spaghetti and fettuccini, and ravioli, cheese and spinach, using traditional pasta techniques. We'll make a dough ball from scratch with flour and eggs; roll out pasta sheets then cut the noodles and/or make filled raviolis. You will also learn to make a quick basic tomato marinara to serve with your pasta.

Musical instruments have shaped human communication and self-expression since the dawn of culture. By learning about instruments from the ancient Americas and building and playing our own, we reconnect with nature, cultivate embodied presence through working with clay, and awaken joy through sound and music-making.
Shake out your sillies with song, nursery rhymes, puppet shows, instruments, and, of course, a dance party! Each class begins with a breathing exercise before transitioning into music and movement activities. Taught by Eliza Adams, a Maryland preschool teacher and musician, this class is designed for children 5 and under. Caretakers are welcome to join or watch!
