Ustad Shafaat’s career is nothing short of extraordinary. He debuted at the Kings Lynn Festival opened by the Queen of England. The son of Ustad Imrat Khan and nephew of Ustad Vilayat Khan, he has graced the stages of prestigious concert halls, festivals, and universities across India, the U.S., Europe, China, Russia, and Japan. He has performed alongside legends like Stevie Wonder at Bonnaroo and shared a televised concert with Ray Charles in Germany. Some of his recordings have also been produced by the esteemed Dr. Deepak Chopra.

Originally from Uruguay, Beledo is a New York–based guitarist and pianist known internationally for his albums and collaborations with artists including Ustad Shafaat Khan, Bakithi Kumalo, Randy Brecker, Stefon Harris, Mino Cinelu, Tito Puente, and Celia Cruz. He has toured worldwide across the U.S., South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, opening for Ustad Shafaat Khan and jazz-fusion legends Soft Machine and Allan Holdsworth. Versed in classical theory, composition, and global musical traditions, Beledo is recognized as a highly versatile and accomplished artist.

Rishy Mehrotra – Tabla 

Rishy Mehrotra is a long-time a Tabla disciple of Ustad Shafaat Khan, whose Tabla repertoire traces back to the royal courts of Rampur and the Farrukhabad Gharana, with influence from several other Tabla Gharanas, or styles, of India. Rishy has shared the stage with Ustad Shafaat Khan on many occassions and has provided Tabla accompaniment for various other musicians of South Asia.
