The Great Halloween Lantern Parade & Festival

Once the sun sets, the magic begins. Myths, spirits, and legends converge in Patterson Park from lands beyond, bringing their mystic wonder to Baltimore. A majestic Alebrije presides over the stage as an ethereal Ouroboro watches over the festival grounds. Dragons, mythical creatures, ghouls, and spirit folk parade through Patterson Park surrounded by bright and beautiful music. Everyone is welcome to grab a lantern and march with thousands of neighbors, artists, musicians, and performers. Many more line the parade route to watch the delightful Great Halloween Lantern Parade winds through the night!!

Godwin Louis

The musically impressive Godwin Louis is a Haitian-American with a love for the rhythms and melodies of his motherland, who is on a quest to trace the roots of jazz. The saxophonist has traveled to over 100 countries in the study of the African musical diaspora. His findings inspired Global, a far-sweeping and personal debut album, which could also be seen as his manifesto.
