The High & Wides w/ Hannah Lee Thompson

The High & Wides project a big, driving sound—musical traditions re-imagined for a new century. With roots in urban Baltimore and the rural Delmarva peninsula, they draw on bluegrass backgrounds and weave in influences from new wave to old time to make music that defies boundaries while evoking the era when country, bluegrass, western swing, and early rock'n'roll mingled freely.

The Quebe Sisters

Combine the musical stylings of The Mills Brothers, Ray Price, Count Basie, and Willie Nelson, and you have none other than The Quebe Sisters! The band’s stripped-down acoustic instrumentation breathes new life into seasoned sounds once found in Texas dance halls and honky-tonks.

The People’s Longband

Formed in 2022,  Baltimore supergroup The People’s Longband plays what could broadly be considered “folk rock” interwoven with deeply psychedelic improvisation, reimagining material drawn from North American and British Isles song traditions and nearly two decades’ worth of compositions from singer/guitarist Dave Heumann (Arbouretum).

Steeped in traditional sounds and infused with contemporary energy and imagination, Charm City Junction blasts through the roots music scene with their genre-defying compositions and performances.  Together for 10 years, Charm City Junction’s Patrick McAvinue (fiddle & mandolin), Brad Kolodner (clawhammer banjo), Sean McComiskey (button accordion) and Alex Lacquement (upright bass) lock into exuberant grooves and virtuosic musical moments on stage, painting sonic palettes that only a band with their instrumentation can craft. Join them in jubilee as they celebrate 10 years together and the release of their new album Salt Box.  

Ari and the Buffalo Kings Album Release

Ari and the Buffalo Kings are back at Creative Alliance celebrating the release of their sophomore album, In The All Together! In The All Together is an indie world folk romp through planes of consciousnesses, honoring the highs and lows of human experience and advocating for mindfulness and compassion at every turn. The band will be performing their sophomore album in its entirety, in addition to offering a short guided meditation with Ari leading into deep embodied listening of the band’s most tender tunes. Celebrate the album’s release with music, meditation, and special merch offered by the band.

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
