Creative Alliance | Ari and the Buffalo Kings

Ari and the Buffalo Kings are back at Creative Alliance celebrating the release of their sophomore album, In The All Together! In The All Together is an indie world folk romp through planes of consciousnesses, honoring the highs and lows of human experience and advocating for mindfulness and compassion at every turn.

You’ll hear original music that draws inspiration from the band’s backgrounds and world travels, from Americana and Latin American folk styles to Hindustani classical improvisation and orchestral composition. With lyrics deeply influenced by mindfulness and world wisdom traditions, In The All Together hopes to contribute to the audience’s toolbox of skillful means for meeting life’s challenges and cultivating well-being, while bringing a sense of humor to it all. With cello, flute, piano, sitar, and more, Ari and the Buffalo Kings bring a unique sound to Baltimore you won’t want to miss! The band will be performing their sophomore album in its entirety, in addition to offering a short guided meditation with Ari leading into deep embodied listening of the band’s most tender tunes. Celebrate the album’s release with music, meditation, and special merch offered by the band.

Ari and the Buffalo Kings are grateful to the Maryland State Arts Council and our friends who made the production of In The All Together possible.

Gin con Leche is a Baltimore-based folk group whose original music blends sounds of Country Western, Latin Folk, and Indian Classical music. Gabe Bustos’ songwriting draws on his Argentinian-American heritage to explore the musical traditions of the North and South American heartlands. The group’s instrumentation features drums, bass, guitar, flute, harmonica, cello, and sitar. The band is celebrating the recent release of their new self-titled EP!
