Resting at the intersection of Swarovski capes, sparkly spandex, and erotic fanfiction; Nerdlesque is an artform unlike any other. Maki Roll (She/Her) will teach you how to elevate your pop culture performance art and undress your favorite nerdy characters (and concepts) for every audience.
This open level class that utilizes elements of fitness conditioning, sensual movement, and dance theory, to provide the student with a total mind and body movement experience. In this 60-minute class, students will learn the Liquid Motion® Fundamentals to build a foundation for floor work & wall work.
Students will explore the rich history of Black burlesque and drag shows in America, including the sociopolitical and cultural dynamics that both separate and intertwine these communities. There will be a focus on local DMV burlesque and drag history.
Calling all Divas, Vixens, Sirens, Vamps, and Bombshells! This fun and empowering workshop is for non-belly dancers and belly dancers who want to explore a bolder side of themselves. This class was created to pull many out of their comfort zone and bring forth an all new level of self confidence with emphasis on style, grace & stage presence.

If you stilt walk already, we would love for you to be there with us! If you have always wanted to learn to stilt walk, we will be hosting workshops and meetups to learn and to practice. If you would rather not walk stilts and support us with your two feet on the ground, we would love for you to join us on the ground support team!

Once the sun sets, the magic begins. The night animals of our beautiful Patterson Park parade through the night surrounded by bright and beautiful music. Everyone is welcome to grab a lantern and march with thousands of neighbors, artists, musicians, and performers. Many more line the parade route to watch the delightful Great Halloween Lantern Parade winds through the night!!
Join the parade! Parade leaves from Patterson Park Pulaski Monument (Between Eastern Ave. & S. Linkwood Ave.) and walks along Eastern Ave. to Creative Alliance (3134 Eastern Ave.). El Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican celebration that honors deceased family members with a colorful, exciting, traditional celebration. The CIELO department is happy to bring this annual holiday to Baltimore to remember our loved ones who passed away but stay in our hearts. So, dress up, paint your face, and join us for a family procession with the gigantic Catrin and Catrina puppets, a Mariachi band, and neighbors to walk from Patterson Park to Creative Alliance! Artesanas welcome you with homemade hot chocolate and pan del Día de los Muerto (Day of the Dead bread). Continue celebrating El Día de los Muertos with performances, live music, costume contests, making traditional art work with the Artesanas, and more!
The The Second Annual Irish Tenor Banjo Summit takes over Creative Alliance on November 17th and 18th! Join us for a full weekend of dancing, performances, and workshops celebrating traditional Irish music. Full festival passes are available as well as tickets to individual events.

Mother's Day is a special holiday around the world. We take this time to honor, thank, and celebrate the important caregivers in our lives. In Latin American tradition, families gather and acknowledge their mama with gifts, food, and live music. CIELO of the Creative Alliance invites you to celebrate all mamas in the Latin American way with performances and music! We will have local food and traditional craft vendors so you can pamper your dear mom with gifts and snacks. Live music by Mambo Machine & Mariachi Imperio. Traditional dance performance by Jóvenes en Acción.

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
