Did you know that The BIG Show was the very first Creative Alliance program? That first event led to twenty-five years of artistic expression, community, cultivation of young minds, and so much joy.
This event is all about our incredibly talented members, those that have just joined Creative Alliance and those that have been with us since the beginning and are at the heart of our organization. Nothing can stop our members from creating and sharing their art with the world. This exhibition and show are designed to celebrate your artistic voice, creativity, and imagination!
Together with our partners, The Baltimore National Heritage Area and The American Visionary Arts Museum, Creative Alliance is excited to welcome you to a screening of “Voices of a Black Butterfly” and the accompanying cultural town hall on July 29th at 2 pm. This collaborative effort is an opportunity to bring our communities together to share ideas and communicate what you care about and what you look forward to in the city we call home.

“Youth Against Guns” is a variety arts show created by the 2023 Creative Alliance Teen Council as part of the Youth Works Summer Program. The Show brings to light the problems youth and our community face with gun violence. Teen Council is passionate about bringing change to gun violence through the arts as it affects our friends, family, neighbors, and community members. Spreading the word throughout our community is key to creating a peaceful Baltimore. Teen Council hopes to push this catalyze to ignite into something that changes the view of Baltimore from constant violence and suffering into a place known for its beauty, culture, and history.
As they realize they could lose their matriarch's home, Salome Sykes and Lendl Tellington turn the camera on their great-grandmother and her nine descendants in order to preserve their family’s legacy. As the brother and sister interview kinfolk, sift through albums, and wade through a century of family furniture, they reimagine these elements as a collection of sensory-driven installations, photography, and cinematic vignettes inspired by generational memories and revelations.

Calling all NEW Stilt Walkers! Have you ever wanted to be a stilt walker? Now's your chance! Train with Baltimore’s best, Jes Raschella, of Baltimore Hoop Love.
We are putting together a large troupe of stilt walkers to walk together wearing illuminated costumes in the Great Halloween Lantern Parade. If you stilt walk already, we would love for you to be there with us! If you have always wanted to learn to stilt walk, we will be hosting workshops and meetups to learn and to practice. If you would rather not walk stilts and support us with your two feet on the ground, we would love for you to join us on the ground support team!
