Blackscope Cinema Series: Bebe’s Kids

Creative Alliance's monthly Blackscope Cinema Series expands our understanding and appreciation of Black Film in America. Through varying programming, including talks, demos, and making activities, the Baltimore community is invited to celebrate modern and contemporary film from Black and Diasporic creators.

Blackscope Cinema Series ends with a carnival snacks themed night with the movie Bebe's Kids! Featuring a conversation afterwards with Rob Lee of Truth in This Art Podcast!

Ngaiire w/ Ray Winder

Ngaiire’s shows give the audience the full spectrum of live performance: one moment a pop banger will have you dancing, and in the next moment, she will break your heart.

Haitian Flag Day Celebration

Celebrate Haitian Flag Day at Creative Alliance with Haitian food, games, giveaways, and live music and performances! Presented by Komite Ayiti.

Kassa Overall w/ Black Assets

Kassa’s solo work melds avant-garde experimentation with hip-hop production techniques to tilt the nexus of jazz and rap in unmapped directions. His message is equally as visionary, often speaking on his own mental health struggles and the turmoil within the collective consciousness.

Brandee Younger

A leading voice of the harp, Brandee Younger recently made history at the 2022 Grammy Awards as the first Black female solo artist nominated in the Best Instrumental Composition category for her song “Beautiful Is Black."

Throughout her fruitful independent career, spanning three EPs and multiple collaborations, Madison has earned accolades from The New York Times, NPR, The FADER, and Pitchfork, who named her a Rising Artist in 2018. Together with our partners, The Baltimore National Heritage Area and The American Visionary Arts Museum, Creative Alliance is excited to welcome you to a screening of “Voices of a Black Butterfly” and the accompanying cultural town hall on July 29th at 2 pm. Charm City Burlesque & Variety Festival

The first annual Charm City Burlesque and Variety Festival (CCBVF) runs Friday September 29 through Sunday October 1 at Baltimore’s Creative Alliance, home to some of Baltimore’s first burlesque and variety shows.

Alison Crockett: The Jazz Sides of Chaka Khan

Originally featuring jazz heavyweights Chick Corea, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, and funky soul diva Chaka Khan, Alison presents Echoes of An Era, a memorable jazz album that meshes past and present inside of rearrangements of swinging jazz standards and originals by Chick Corea.

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
