Once the sun sets, the magic begins. Myths, spirits, and legends converge in Patterson Park from lands beyond, bringing their mystic wonder to Baltimore. A majestic Alebrije presides over the stage as an ethereal Ouroboro watches over the festival grounds. Dragons, mythical creatures, ghouls, and spirit folk parade through Patterson Park surrounded by bright and beautiful music. Everyone is welcome to grab a lantern and march with thousands of neighbors, artists, musicians, and performers. Many more line the parade route to watch the delightful Great Halloween Lantern Parade winds through the night!!

Christopher J. Chester and Micah E. Wood are longtime collaborators in design and photography in Baltimore, MD. Upon meeting in 2014, they bonded over their studies of design and photography at MICA and their love for music. Music is the connecting force of their friendship. 'Scene Seen' explores the Station North music scene between 2016 and 2022 from their perspective through photography and poster design. Baltimore has been known as a music poster city dating back to the 1960s with Globe Posters and continues that legacy.

Join us for an evening of short films which explore pioneering Baltimore musicians, from Beach House, Dan Deacon and DDm to trailblazing bluegrass musician Hazel Dickens. This collection of three short films chronicles various corners of Maryland's rich music scene. It's also the Baltimore debut of "Don't Put Her Down," a new work by Baltimore filmmaker Julia Golonka. Plus: A sneak preview of the forthcoming Baltimore House Music documentary "Music Liberated: Baltimore's in the House." Join WTMD's Sam Sessa and directors Golonka, Joe Tropea, and more in a Q+A after the screening.
Painted screens are a unique Baltimore folk art. Watch a short film on the history of the painted screens and the early painted screen artists, enjoy a demonstration of the painted screen technique, and then paint paint a small screen. Multiple painting options are available. Two drinks from a selection of beer and wine are included in the workshop cost!
The Dan Meyer Choir is BACK with its Presidents Day holiday tradition: The Love Songs of the Presidents! Baltimore's most original community choir has combined all the romance of Valentines Day with the glory of Presidents Day by setting the love poetry of former US Presidents to four-part choral music. From George Washington to George W. Bush, come experience the profound, funny, and bizarre romantic words of some of our former Commanders in Chief.
Join artists for monthly Open Critique in our Marquee Lounge! Each session is an open forum to show 1-2 examples of your artwork and receive feedback from experienced artists from varying mediums and backgrounds. Tap dancer and vocalist, Brinae Ali, and her bandmates of the Baltimore Jazz Collective celebrate the life and legacy of Baltimore's greatest tap dancer: Baby Laurence (February 24, 1921-April 2, 1974).

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
