Led by Zoë Lintzeris, a Baltimore-based visual artist and certified Arts in Health Specialist, this session will improve your sense of well-being and focus, while calming the mind and restoring energy. This is part of a class series comprising monthly workshops that each touch on a different theme exploring wellness and connection.

In this special weekend Artesanas workshop, learn this story and process of Ponche Navideño, the traditional Mexican holiday punch prepared with different seasonal fruits. Painted screens are a unique Baltimore folk art. This workshop will include a short film on the history of the painted screen and the early painted screen artists, a demonstration of the painted screen technique, and painting a small screen. Multiple painting options will be available.

Both a social dance and a form of entertainment, belly dance is a great way to meet amazing people and learn about Egyptian history and culture. Pick up the foundational moves and vocabulary of belly dance, while learning about ethics, etiquette, music, and history of belly dance. And be ready to MOVE! We'll explore isolations, spatial awareness, strength, flexibility, and some use of props. All experience levels welcome!

Join Chef Idalee for an afternoon full of the holiday spirit, with traditional Italian Christmas cookies that will rival any bakery. Ovens are hot, spices are mixing, and spirits are high in this bake-themed winter wonderland.
This drop-in figure drawing course is suitable for all skill levels. Untrained new artists will learn multiple approaches to figure drawing while seasoned artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills and further train their eye. Each class will feature a nude model and begin with quick gesture poses. The remaining time will be spent on the artistry of longer poses. The goal is to train all artists to more quickly and fluidly capture the gesture of the entire figure.

Let CA's Artesana Zoila teach you to cook a feast with Ecuadorian hornado as the centerpiece. This traditional dish has pre-Columbian origins, with indigenous cooking techniques that involved hot stones and banana leaves. With the arrival of the Spanish, new culinary techniques and seasonings were incorporated, giving rise to hornado as we know it today. Warm the soul (and belly) this fall at the Artesanas Table!
