Home Ec for Grownups: Sew Fabulous!

Step into a world of creativity, practicality, and HOMEMAKING/SURVIVAL SKILLS in this adults-only monthly workshop. In the Home Ec experience you *wish* you’d had, explore traditional homemaking with a sprinkling of badassery. From stamps to mending to DIY decor, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to hone your home skills for WHATEVER the future of late-stage capitalism may bring.

Loom large in this stitchin’ workshop, where needles and machines open the door to a new landscape of sustainability, fashion, and these-ain’t-your-grandma’s-sewing-patterns. No experience necessary, Bring Your Own Thimble!

Instructor Bio
Jesse Lentzwiler is a multidisciplinary teaching artist from Philadelphia, living in Baltimore by way of Minneapolis. She works in handcrafts, including sewing, loom knitting, and printmaking. With a background in jewelry, dioramas, and bronze casting, she  loves things that are small, intimate, and personal. Her audience is children, present and former.
