Heels Performance Class

6:30 – 8:00pm | All Levels

Learn to move like you mean it. This class breaks down the art of heels performance — from commanding walks and sharp choreography to the kind of stage presence that stops a room. Students will cover heel technique and footwork, performance styling and body movement, choreography fundamentals, and how to perform with confidence and intention. Whether you’ve never worn a heel on stage or you’re ready to sharpen your skills, this class meets you exactly where you are.

What to Bring:
Heels are encouraged but not required — any heel height welcome. Bare feet are perfectly fine for beginners. Wear form-fitting comfortable clothing you can move freely in. Bring water and a towel.

Accessibility:
This class is open to all levels, all bodies, and all abilities. No dance experience necessary. If you have any mobility considerations please reach out ahead of class so we can make sure you’re set up for success.

Heels Performance Classes and Burlesque 101

Why two workshops? Each Tuesday evening is designed as a complete experience — Heels Performance sets the foundation of stage presence and movement, while Burlesque 101 deepens the artistry. Together they give students a full introduction to the performance world we’re building at the Charm School of Burlesque. By offering two classes back to back, students get a full evening of training while building community with the same group of people every month — laying the groundwork for our upcoming 9-week intensive. Launching in 2027, the intensive will combine movement, lecture, and skill-based learning into a 2-3 hour weekly session designed for students who are ready to go deeper into the art form and the culture behind it.
