Formed in 2022, Baltimore supergroup The People’s Longband plays what could broadly be considered “folk rock” interwoven with deeply psychedelic improvisation, reimagining material drawn from North American and British Isles song traditions and nearly two decades’ worth of compositions from singer/guitarist Dave Heumann (Arbouretum).
Grab your garters, shine your shoes, and join Baltimore's reigning Mistress of Smut, Jocelyn Loverling, for a sensual vintage cocktail party in celebration of 5 years of randy readings!

On Saturday, September 16th, 2023 we meet in the Patterson Park Annex (the Little Park) to welcome Little Amal to Baltimore and show her a home away from home. Join us as she meets new friends, shares her story, and experiences the beauty of Latin American culture that is thriving here in Charm City!
Little Amal is the 12 foot puppet of a 10 year old Syrian refugee child. She has become a global symbol of human rights, especially those of refugees. This September, Creative Alliance is honored to be a stop on Little Amal's journey.
This special Tianquiztli Market celebrates Latin American Heritage! We close the street in front of Creative Alliance for a celebration of Latin American flavors, art, music, and traditions that have been passed down through the generations and are treasured here in Baltimore. Enjoy live performances, music, vendors, and traditional workshops that reflect the colors, sounds, textures, and flavors of many Latin American countries.
Talented DMV artists from disparate genres team up to pay tribute to the First Lady of Country, Patsy Cline, this September, produced by Jess Eliot Myhre. They’ll treat your ears and your spirit with classic renditions of her songs, as well as reimagined versions of her pieces with new instrumentation and creative arrangements.
Come join us as we celebrate the incomparable, groove-laden music of The Crawdaddies during this free event! Dance to live tributes by band-members, including Chris Huntingdon and John Kane, as well as area musicians like Alex Carle, Bobby B, and Stone Hill Allstars while enjoying creole-inspired cuisine, a cash bar, door prizes and giveaways!
Argentine accordionist, composer, and researcher Alejandro Brittes, who will tour in the US this October, has been declared one of the foremost contemporary chamamé ambassadors and innovators. Born of the centuries-long interaction between ritual practices of indigenous Guaraní and the Baroque music influences brought by Jesuits in the Mission period (16th to 18th Centuries), chamamé can be conceived of as a ritual that seeks to communicate with the Earth and the Universe and maintain harmony among humans, through music and dance that lead participants to moments of ecstatic trance. Often this ecstasy is viscerally expressed by participants through a sapucay, a piercing, spontaneous ancestral yell to release strong emotions pent up inside.
To celebrate the release of their fourth album, "Inside Out," The Old Part of Town brings their singular blend of folk-rock, country-blues, and bluegrass to the Creative Alliance. And to make it that much more of a special evening they'll be joined by their friends, who will be doing sets of their own, folk singer-songwriter Letitia VanSant, and local honky-tonk king Arty Hill with guitarist Tim Pruitt!
