Candlelight Concerts – A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics

Formed in 2022,  Baltimore supergroup The People’s Longband plays what could broadly be considered “folk rock” interwoven with deeply psychedelic improvisation, reimagining material drawn from North American and British Isles song traditions and nearly two decades’ worth of compositions from singer/guitarist Dave Heumann (Arbouretum).

Welcome to The Soul Stage, a new series by Black Assets highlighting the future of soul music in Baltimore by showcasing new and upcoming soul, funk, and indie artists from the scene. With the impact that soul music has had on her life, Black Assets wants to bring soul back to Charm City and trail blaze a lane for it by amplifying critical local voices.

Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra

A rare live performance by the Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra, a nine-piece ensemble of six horns, piano, bass, and drums led by Baltimore bass clarinetist and composer Todd Marcus, one of the few jazz artists worldwide to focus primarily on the bass clarinet. The band features lush and intricate original compositions that often feature influences of Middle Eastern music reflecting Marcus' Egyptian-American heritage. Started in 2003, the ensemble includes musicians from Baltimore, New York, Knoxville, St. Louis, and Lansing. Albums include the 2006 debut In Pursuit of the 9th Man, 2015’s portrayal of Egypt's Arab Spring revolution called Blues for Tahrir, and 2022’s In the Valley that offers a portrait of modern and ancient Egypt.

The The Second Annual Irish Tenor Banjo Summit takes over Creative Alliance on November 17th and 18th! Join us for a full weekend of dancing, performances, and workshops celebrating traditional Irish music. Full festival passes are available as well as tickets to individual events.

All Good Things Must Begin!: Climate Change Theatre Action

Baltimore theatre artists, activists, and others are coming together to read 7 plays from 5 countries that will help us connect the dots between what is happening around climate and environmental justice globally and locally. Visual artist Maura Dwyer performs her cranky Wilder than Walls, and Sanahara Ama Chandra provides original music to help us bring our hearts and minds together.

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
