Rissa Fine-Karpoff gives the lowdown on the basics of weaving and then shows you how to create your very own mug rug (coaster) to take home! There will be a large selection of yarns and patterns to choose from, or you can create your own unique pattern. In addition to the small loom you will make your mug rug on, there will be two more complex looms to try out as well.

Instructor GiGi Holliday, teaches you the ins and outs of classic burlesque movement! Of the many moves associated with classic burlesque, there is the bump & grind—two great foundational moves that any performer can use to build a dynamic and entertaining act. Classic burlesque moves are great tools to have in your performer shimmy belt. In addition to learning classic moves, students will explore ways to implement them for use with live bands and the occasional "oh no" moments on stage. Students should wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. No prior dance experience is necessary.

Jóvenes en Acción is a Latin American folkloric dance & service- learning program serving youth ages 12-20. Led by dancers, choreographers, and educators from Monterrey, Mexico, participants will engage in an arts-based dance program with an emphasis on dances, steps, and routines that represent Latin American identity, culture, and heritage.
In class, students will learn and practice the basic movements of Capoeira, both solo and with partners, while following the teacher through movements and sequences. Students will also learn the songs of Capoeira and, through them, the Portuguese language and Afro-Brazilian history and culture. Students will sing as well as learn to play instruments such as berimbau, pandeiro, agogo, reco-reco, and atabaque as part of the class.

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
