Pilates is a low-impact exercise that strengthens your entire body using precise movements and controlled breathing, emphasizing spinal alignment to enhance core strength, flexibility, and posture for all fitness levels. Explore the fundamentals of Contact Improvisation, an open-ended form of dance that embraces the kinesthetic possibilities of bodies moving through contact. Painted screens are a unique Baltimore folk art. This workshop will include a short film on the history of the painted screen and the early painted screen artists, a demonstration of the painted screen technique, and painting a small screen. Multiple painting options will be available.
This monthly program shares ways to meet the challenges of daily life by staying connected to our choices without reacting to people and situations. This is an opportunity to discover well-being within your body and mind regardless of your situation. On alternating months, the program will be conducted in Spanish.
The community is invited to join a singing candle-lit procession through the streets of Highlandtown starting at Creative Alliance and stopping by local businesses until arriving at Our Lady of Pompei Church. The night ends with a fiesta, traditional food, performances, raffles, and piñata breaking to celebrate that all of us are welcome here!
Brought to you by local burlesque powerhouses Jacqueline Boxx and Ruby Rockafella, Glitter Ball is a celebration of everything that glitters, shimmers, and shines! This explosion of sparkle features TWO stages of burlesque and variety entertainment, headlined by NYC's own "Sin in an Hourglass," Medianoche; a Sparkle Market with jewelry, hair flowers, and more; photo ops with stunning backdrops; and a glimmering dance party to finish out the extravaganza. Both bars are open throughout the night, serving dazzling cocktails and mocktails!

This drop-in figure drawing course is suitable for all skill levels. Untrained new artists will learn multiple approaches to figure drawing while seasoned artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills and further train their eye. Each class will feature a nude model and begin with quick gesture poses. The remaining time will be spent on the artistry of longer poses. The goal is to train all artists to more quickly and fluidly capture the gesture of the entire figure.

He died at the age of 29, on New Year's 1953, leaving behind a legacy of songs and performances that will not be forgotten. In the six years of his recording career, Hank Williams songs created the definition of the perfect country song.
