Kelly uses a wide range of atypical material, pushing media past their intended purpose, encouraging them to collide and react. Her works are intricately layered, referencing graffiti, landscape, and color field. Evan Woodard of Salvage Arc discusses the history of the building and local art and crafts for sale.
About Sandtown Furniture Company
In 2023, after a decade of dreaming, Sandtown Furniture Company opened its doors in a grand, old, brick warehouse in SW Baltimore. They reclaim character-rich, wild wood from Camp Small, Baltimore’s zero-waste, tree salvage program. Sandtown Furniture’s Will Phillips tag teams with Camp Small’s Yard Master, Shaun Preston, to highlight their full circle economy model.
