Many Americas Series Launch and Season Announcement: February 19, 6:30pm – 9pm

• Emerging filmmakers ready to share their vision 
• Mid-career artists exploring new creative territory 
• Storytellers seeking community and audience engagement 
• Filmmakers interested in constructive dialogue about their craft 

Format: Fiction and non-fiction welcome
Length: Short films and mid-length (up to 60 minutes)

THE MANY AMERICAS
The Many Americas jury seeks films that explore the rich tapestry of American experience and imagination. We want stories that capture the complexity, diversity, and authenticity of life in America—from urban centers to rural communities, from immigrant experiences to generational narratives, from contemporary realities to historical perspectives. Chosen films will be screened throughout the year – either as a feature on their own or as a double feature with another film.

MOVIES IN THE LOUNGE
Movies in the Lounge provides a curated showcase for emerging and mid-career talent to present their work to an engaged community eager to discover new voices in cinema. Chosen films will be screened throughout the year – either as a feature on their own or as a double feature with another film.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS 

Technical Specifications: 

• Format: .mp4 files only 
• Resolution: Minimum 1080p (1920×1080), 4K accepted 
• Frame Rate: 23.976, 24, or 29.97 fps 
• Audio: Stereo mix required, 48kHz/24-bit preferred 
• Codec: H.264 
• Maximum Length: 60 minutes 

Required Materials: 

• Completed film in specified format 
• Director’s statement (250 words maximum) 
• Brief filmmaker biography (150 words maximum) 
• Film synopsis (100 words maximum) 
• Production stills (3-5 high-resolution images) 
• Contact information and social media handles 

Submission Guidelines: 

• Films must be completed works ready for screening 
• Original content only (no copyright infringement) 
• English language or English subtitles required 
• Previous festival screenings welcome 
• Works in progress not accepted
