Whether you keep both, or give one to a friend, these tiny tomes are perfect for pocket poems, secret spells, or heartfelt notes.
We’ll walk you through the basics of bookbinding—no experience needed—and provide all the materials, tools, and guidance to bring your mini books to life. You’ll leave with newfound skills, a pair of precious handmade books, and the satisfaction of turning discarded scraps into something lasting and beautiful.

Teacher Bio
Amanda McCormick is a feminist poet, bookbinder, lover, healer & all around artist + alchemist living in Maryland. Amanda is the founder of multiple creative brands including The House Handcrafted, a waste reducing studio & oddity shop, and the author of four books of poetry. Amanda holds an MFA in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts and has been a bookmaker for more than 20 years. A natural collaboration and empathy, Amanda has devoted their life to finding treasure in trash and continues to inspire others to do the same with innovation that blurs the lines of artistic material and form.
