Musical instruments have shaped human communication and self-expression since the dawn of culture. By learning about instruments from the ancient Americas and building and playing our own, we reconnect with nature, cultivate embodied presence through working with clay, and awaken joy through sound and music-making.

We are thrilled to welcome back Amythyst Kiah for an intimate solo performance. On her new album Still + Bright, Tennessee-bred singer/songwriter Amythyst Kiah explores the vast expanse of her inner world: her deep-rooted affinity for Eastern philosophies and spiritual traditions, a near-mystical connection with the natural environment, the life lessons learned in her formative years as a self-described “anime-nerd mall goth,” and much more. Produced by Butch Walker (Taylor Swift, Green Day, Weezer) and recorded at his Nashville studio, Kiah’s second full-length for Rounder Records merges her revelatory storytelling with a darkly cinematic twist on the rootsy alt-rock of her 2021 breakthrough Wary + Strange—an LP that landed on Rolling Stone’s list of the 25 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2021 and drew acclaim from major outlets like Pitchfork. With its sonic palette encompassing everything from fuzzed-out guitars and industrial-leaning beats to gilded pedal steel and Kiah’s exquisitely graceful banjo work, Still + Bright makes for a vital new addition to a body of work largely dedicated to exploring the struggle and joy of true self-discovery.

Patrick Swayze kicks, philosophizes, and tears throats in this gloriously absurd cult classic. As Dalton, the world's best "cooler" (yes, bouncer-philosopher), he brings zen and pain to a small-town bar terrorized by a local crime boss. It's ridiculous. It's sincere. It's absolutely perfect midnight movie material. CAN I KICK IT? is designed for fans of cult classic action films, Kung-Fu flicks, and the music they inspire. Each screening is scored live, scene-by-scene, by DJ 2-Tone Jones, blending Hip Hop, Soul, Rock, and more to create a truly unique cinematic experience.
This drop-in figure drawing course is suitable for all skill levels. Untrained new artists will learn multiple approaches to figure drawing while seasoned artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills and further train their eye. Each class will feature a nude model and begin with quick gesture poses. The remaining time will be spent on the artistry of longer poses. The goal is to train all artists to more quickly and fluidly capture the gesture of the entire figure. |

There is a particular kind of knowing that lives in a dinner table—in the grain of the wood, the weight of the chairs, the smell of a meal that no longer exists but somehow never leaves. Baltimore-based twin artists Hope & Faith McCorkle have built an entire exhibition around that knowing, and what it means to carry it long after the table and the person who set it are gone. You Can Always Come Back Home is an immersive, multidimensional installation that asks one of the most profound questions we can hold: where is home when the world keeps moving and the people who made it are no longer here? Working across large-scale mixed-media scrolls, domestic objects, inherited furniture, and participatory installations, Hope and Faith construct a gallery environment that breathes like a living room—layered, intimate, and full of presence. Rooted in Black feminist thought and bell hooks' concept of homeplace as a site of resistance, the exhibition positions home not as a fixed location but as a space where memory, spirit, and ancestry live as one.
