Classical Figure Drawing w/ Lauren Carlo

This drop-in figure drawing course is suitable for all skill levels. Untrained new artists will learn multiple approaches to figure drawing while seasoned artists will have the opportunity to hone their skills and further train their eye. Each class will feature a nude model and begin with quick gesture poses. The remaining time will be spent on the artistry of longer poses. The goal is to train all artists to more quickly and fluidly capture the gesture of the entire figure.

Free Community Pilates w/ Shayla Thomas

Pilates is a low-impact exercise that strengthens your entire body using precise movements and controlled breathing, emphasizing spinal alignment to enhance core strength, flexibility, and posture for all fitness levels. Pilates also promotes relaxation and mindfulness, leaving you feeling energized and balanced. Come with your mat and discover how pilates can transform your mind and body! Painted Screens: A Baltimore Folk Art

Painted screens are a unique Baltimore folk art. This workshop will include a short film on the history of the painted screen and the early painted screen artists, a demonstration of the painted screen technique, and painting a small screen. Multiple painting options will be available.

Forge an exquisite meal from scratch, with Latin and South American recipes and hone your culinary skills! After strutting your stuff, finish off with a full shared meal with your new culinary compatriots in this joyful, enlightening experience. Artesana Zoila leads you through a traditional Ecuadorean empanadas, with meat-full and meat-free options to accommodate dietary restrictions. Belly Dance with Naimah Dances

Learn classic and modern Middle Eastern style belly dance. Both a social dance and a form of entertainment, belly dance is a great way to meet amazing people and learn about Egyptian history and culture. Pick up the foundational moves and vocabulary of belly dance, while learning about ethics, etiquette, music, and history of belly dance. And be ready to MOVE! We'll explore isolations, spatial awareness, strength, flexibility, and some use of props. All experience levels welcome!

Sipping Spring: Spring Mocktail & Cocktail Workshop

Shake Out Your Sillies

Shake out your sillies with song, nursery rhymes, puppet shows, instruments, and, of course, a dance party! Each class begins with a breathing exercise before transitioning into music and movement activities. Taught by Eliza Adams, a Maryland preschool teacher and musician, this class is designed for children 5 and under. Caretakers are welcome to join or watch!

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 5pm on Tuesday thru Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
