Those Who Art Together: A Casual Critique w/ HOPE

Join artists for monthly Open Critique—one of Creative Alliance's longest-running programs! This is an opportunity to share artwork in progress, engage with local artists, and build community. This event is free for members, and this month is hosted by artist HOPE! Each session is an open forum to show 1-2 examples of your artwork and receive feedback from experienced artists from varying mediums and backgrounds.

Sunsational Cocktails & Mocktails w/ Eudemonia Herbs

There is no better way to celebrate summer than learning how to craft herbal cocktails and mocktails for enjoyment during the hot summer days and nights! This workshop is a hands-on approach to infusing herbal goodness into summertime libations. Join in the refreshment, build community, and learn how herbs can support health and well-being.

Pizza Time: Family Cooking Class w/ Chef Keith Curley

Pizza is like a family: beautiful, messy, kneading lots of love, occasionally greasy. In this hands-on family culinary class, learn to make delectable dough, prepare fresh toppings, and craft a perfect pizza pie. After completing this most marinawesome of tasks, kick back, share in a pizza party, and enjoy the crusts of your labor. But the fun doesn't end there! At the conclusion of the class, everyone goes home with dough and toppings to make sure it's always going to be pizza o'clock.

Monthly Juggling Jam: All Levels

Whether you're a seasoned pro with chainsaws and large cats or a juggling newcomer who sometimes struggles with just catching a break, all are welcome at Creative Alliance's new monthly juggling jam! In this all-levels program, come ready to practice, play, and pal around with area jugglers, juggling enthusiasts, and people who are just too cool to *not* be in the jam. Fundamentals instruction available for newcomers in this accessible and joyful juggling jamboree!

Kerplunk! & Film! SPY KIDS

Kerplunk! is great for younger kids and families! Join us in the Creativity Center every Saturday to create fun seasonal crafts and art projects based on current exhibitions! Kerplunk! is always free! Join us in the theater after you make your Kerplunk! creation for a screening of Spy Kids (2001), popcorn, and other concessions! This is a ticketed event. Be sure to purchase in advance or at the box office.

Home Ec for Grownups: We Need the Beads

Step into a world of creativity, practicality, and HOMEMAKING/SURVIVAL SKILLS in this adults-only monthly workshop. In the Home Ec experience you *wish* you'd had, explore traditional homemaking with a sprinkling of badassery. From stamps to mending to DIY decor, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to hone your home skills for WHATEVER the future of late-stage capitalism may bring.

Discover the art of beading, with techniques to create beautiful and/or hardcore beadwork designs on a loom or sewn onto fabric. Unleash your creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Mud to Music: Taller de Flautas de Arcilla

Los instrumentos musicales nos han ayudado a comunicar y expresarnos desde los comienzos de la cultura humana. Al construir nuestros propios instrumentos artesanales despertamos la memoria de nuestra conexión con la naturaleza, cultivamos presencia a través de trabajar el barro, y experimentamos alegría a con el sonido y la música. En este taller aprenderemos sobre instrumentos milenarios de Centroamérica y América del Sur y construiremos nuestras propias flautas con arcilla. Todos los materiales y herramientas están incluidos. ¡No se requiere experiencia previa con arcilla, instrumentos ni música!

Walk On By: Baltimore-Rotterdam Exhibition & Artist Exchange

Creative Alliance, TENT Rotterdam, and Baltimore-Rotterdam Sister City Committee, present Walk On By: an exhibition and a cultural exchange that connects Black artists, their diverse experiences, and artwork, across the Atlantic. Explore the Black Atlantic through the diverse stories of local artists in the historical port cities of Baltimore and Rotterdam, through exhibitions in both countries and an exchange program.

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
