Essential Tease instructors Jacqueline Boxx, Ruby Rockafella, and Tempete La Coeur are proud to welcome a bevy of brand-spanking-new burlesque performers to the stage! After completing an 8-week-long workshop that transformed them from the inside out, these students are ready to bring their acts and assets to the stage for the first time ever! Featuring guest MC Sitara Sin and special performances by Essential Tease instructors! The show will stream virtually as well as being live on stage!

John Doyle and Mike McGoldrick, together, represent the finest musicians performing in traditional Irish music today. Born in Manchester, UK, of Irish parents, Mikehas been a road warrior since his teen years, and most notably distinguished himself in the top shelf bands, Lunasa and Capercaillie. With his powerful and yet subtle flute, whistles and uillean pipes, Mike has performed all over Europe, the US, Canada and worldwide with Kate Rusby, Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, and like John is a regular for many years with the Transatlantic Sessions at the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow.

At our Cultural Curiosity summer camp, students will begin their day with yoga and mindfulness practice in Patterson Park. They’ll create piñatas, puppets, and clay rattles. We’ll go swimming at Patterson Park pool, cool off watching a movie in our theater, and have special guest artists like Beatbox Bingo and Slippy the Hula Hoop Extraordinaire.

Black Assets returns with a special summer edition of A Soul Stage. This edition will be a special celebration of the soulful R&B style blending hip-hop, jazz, opera, and spoken word of Jill Scott, and the 25th anniversary of her first album, the masterpiece that is "Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol.1". Her debut album, Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol. 1, went platinum in 2000, and the follow-ups achieved gold status. Scott has won three Grammys and is a New York Times best-selling poet for The Moments, The Minutes, The Hours.

Los instrumentos musicales nos han ayudado a comunicar y expresarnos desde los comienzos de la cultura humana. Al construir nuestros propios instrumentos artesanales despertamos la memoria de nuestra conexión con la naturaleza, cultivamos presencia a través de trabajar el barro, y experimentamos alegría a con el sonido y la música. En este taller aprenderemos sobre instrumentos milenarios de Centroamérica y América del Sur y construiremos nuestras propias flautas con arcilla. Todos los materiales y herramientas están incluidos. ¡No se requiere experiencia previa con arcilla, instrumentos ni música!

The Bayberries are a Baltimore-based female trio whose original music weaves together bluegrass and folk sounds, classical styles, and influences from around the globe. Featuring Danielle Williams on mandolin, ukulele, piano, and vocals; Samantha Flores on cello and vocals; and Hana Morford on viola, violin, and vocals. Joined by Rachel May this is a night of exceptional musicianship, highlighting beautiful voices from the local scene that you need to hear!

Our Box Office is currently open from Noon to 5pm on Tuesday thru Saturdays and one hour before all ticketed events. We accept cash, cards, and checks. Service fees are waived for in-person ticket purchases.
