The live performances of multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and poet Marian Mcluaghlin are always graced with a bit of magic. I think we all can agree, a bit of magic at our doorsteps is what we all need about now.  Her recent songs are meditative reflections inspired by natural cycles. Guided by intuition and imagination, her songs embody a peaceful atmosphere, pairing arpeggiated fingerpicking with contemplative lyrics.

NOTE: Please note these Serenades will need access to a power source.

About Sidewalk Serenades:

Creative Alliance believes that a Baltimore without live performances is a Baltimore without joy – and we won’t stand for that!

As you likely know, working performers have had their gigs and their livelihoods cancelled for the foreseeable future. Join Creative Alliance in creating performance opportunities for these artists throughout Baltimore while simultaneously respecting the need for everyone to keep a safe distance.

Performers will come to the confirmed address, text the residence upon arrival and, like a burst of sunlight through these gray skies, share their talents from the sidewalk. Each performance is approximately 20 minutes in length. The donations from each of these performance events will be shared between the artist and Creative Alliance to help keep the arts alive and thriving in Baltimore!

The Basics:

Performers will come to the front of your (or loved ones) home and will perform for 15-20 minutes.

Concerts will be scheduled on the hour, and you can purchase them on the Creative Alliance website.

Sales end when each slot is booked OR 8pm the day before the concerts.

If there is poor weather, concerts will be rescheduled.

What if I want to purchase a concert for someone else???

Just leave the name, address, and cell number of the person the concert is for in the COMMENTS Section when you check out online.

What if I live in an apartment?

Performers will not enter an apartment or shared home but can perform in front of the complex. This situation is better suited for louder musicians (horn players, trios etc).
