Celebrate the largest and most electrifying festival in the world—Brazilian Carnival, right in Highland Town, Baltimore, at Creative Alliance. Brazilian cultural arts center EducArte brings its popular Sarau de Samba Experience to this year’s Viva Brazil Carnival Party. Grab your most colorful outfits and your friends for an unforgettable night in Rio de Janeiro, immersed in an exuberant, community-centered celebration of Afro-Brazilian samba culture, where infectious ancestral rhythms come alive through music, dance, and joyful togetherness.

The samba performances are led by locally-based Brazilian star performers Pablo Regis, André Coelho and samba dancer Mariana Triginelli, who invite you to experience the heart of Brazil on the dance floor. The event features a live samba band, thundering samba street-drumming ensemble, dazzling samba dancers, and charismatic breakout Brazilian DJ Babilous, showcasing everything from ecstatic roots samba to high-energy carnival beats.

The party starts with a beginner-friendly samba dance lesson.
