Luciane Dom from Rio de Janeiro

Multilingual singer, songwriter and producer, Dom is part of a new generation of contemporary artists from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who bring poetic themes such as Black diaspora, feminism, empowerment, as well as social reflections that impact the construction of their emotions.

This Fall she was just featured at venues such as Stanford LiveQuad City ArtsLotus World Music and Arts Festival, and International Latino Cultural Center. She is part of the 2024/25 Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Performing Arts Global Exchange (PAGE) roster.

Possessing a History degree from the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, and Member of the Advisory Board of the US Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro, in addition to songwriting workshops, Luciane´s multilingual educational work primarily revolves around masterclasses and interactive classes covering traditional Afro-Brazilian rhythms including Ijexá and samba.

Luciane Dom is a dynamic artist with a growing global footprint in the music industry. She has also shared stages with renowned names such as Lianne La Havas, Liniker, John Benitez, Luedji Luna, Vox Sambou, Malika Tirólien (Bokanté), Bebo Dumont, and others.

Her career highlights include standout performances at major festivals and events such as IIE Honors at the World Trade Center (2022), Brasil Summerfest at Lincoln Center NYC (2023), Stanford Live (2024), Lotus Festival (2024) and many more.

Luciane has toured extensively, with four U.S. tours (2018–2024), performances in Chile (2019), and her Canadian debut in Toronto and Montreal (2022), solidifying her place as a rising star on the international world music scene.
