Come celebrate Hanukkah with everyone’s favorite Klezmer band, the Honorable Mentshn, from Brooklyn, NYC. According to Shoshana Oysher, “it is customary on Chanukah for everyone to get together to play games and sing songs, both traditional, folk and otherwise” (from Moishe Oysher’s “Chanukah Party,” 1950), and that’s the plan.
Clarinetist Michael Winograd and his band are thrilled to be joined by the fabulous Berlin-based Yiddish songstress Sasha Lurje for a night of good times and good beats while miracles abound! Don’t miss out! What better way to spend the fourth night? And like the menorahs shining through the streets of Baltimore, this party will most certainly be lit.
