A benefit for N-CHAT
Drum Dr. Dot and Roses n Rust are proud to announce our album release concert for UNBOXED, an eclectic blend of original songs written by Drum Dr. Dot and performed by the beloved Baltimore-based band, Roses n Rust. Why UNBOXED? Because you can’t put Drum Dr Dot in a box. The album includes the genres of blues, ballad, pop, rock, and country, delivered by our electrifying band. We will also play some of your favorite cover songs. Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes! Proceeds from this concert will benefit the work of Nyame Nti Cultural Healing Arts Therapy (N-CHAT), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that integrates mental health and the arts to promote healing. N-CHAT will perform at this concert. Can’t make it to the concert? Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support N-CHAT’s mission to spread love, forgiveness, and healing through music.
Dr. Dorothy Adamson Holley, aka Drum Dr. Dot, is a Developmental Psychologist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who uses the arts to promote healing. Did you know that listening to music and attending a concert benefits us individually and collectively? Music is known to improve our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
In addition to great music, mental health resources will be available. Signed copies of Dr. Holley’s books, “Talk Therapy (Alone) is Not Enough: Creative Practices for Trauma Treatment” and “Drumetry: Drumming with Poetry” will also be available. If you’ve already bought a book, bring it for signature.
