ALTAR-MAKING W/ ARTESANAS MEXICANAS
Celebrate life and new beginnings with Creative Alliance’s Artesanas Mexicanas! Learn the traditions and art techniques of Día de los Muertos and altar making. Bring a portrait of a loved one to place and honor on any of our community altars. Altars will be honored in a special walking ceremony on November 2 during Día de los Muertos Family Day.

Día de los Muertos honors our loved ones that are no longer with us. Meet at Patterson Park at 11am to join a family procession to with gigantic Catrina and Catrin puppets. Dress up and have your face painted for the kids costume contest. Artesanas and Artesanitos welcome you to Creative Alliance with hot chocolate and Day of the Dead bread, lead workshops in flower-making, and much more. Traditional foods is for sale, watch folkloric dances, and listen to Mariachi Garibaldi perform!

¡El festival Dia de los Muertos honra y celebra a aquellos que fallecieron, reuniéndonos a las 11AM en el Parque Patterson! Vístete, píntate la cara y participa en el concurso de disfraces. El Desfile familiar comienza con gigantescas marionetas de Catrina y Catrin, caminando hacia Creative Alliance, donde Artesanas Mexicanas y Artesanitos dan la bienvenida a esta bella tradición anual con chocolate caliente y pan del Día de los Muertos, taller de flores de papel, taller de comida artificial, tendremos comida tradicional a la venta, danzas folklóricas, y la participación de el Mariachi Garibaldi.
