The Great Halloween Parade & Festival! Here’s what you need to know.

Creative Alliance | Best Lantern Parade

This is a celebration of color and light! A family festival and parade with hayrides, lantern making, bands, food trucks, beer, hot drinks, stiltwalkers, dancers, & more! Everyone is welcome to enjoy the festival, make a lantern, and march in the parade!

THE BASICS
Saturday October 25th
Patterson Park around the Pulaski Monument

4:00pm Kids Costume Contest – Registration at 3:30pm
5:15pm Sac Au Lait
6:30pm Parade Line-up | Boat Lake

8:30pm GLOWBALL After Party & Costume Contest! ($) at Creative Alliance (9pm bands)

PARADE RAIN DATE: Sunday October 26th (Glowball will still happen on Saturday)

WHERE TO WATCH
Families are encouraged to watch the parade and finale from inside the Pulaski Monument – don’t let the fence stop you!
The beer garden will have a great view of the main stage and the parade returning to the monument.
The VIP Tent located inside the Pulaski Monument is right next to the main stage. VIP tickets are available through The Gathering.
A great view of the entire city and the parade is along Ellwood Ave at the top of the hill in the annex park.

HOW TO GET HERE
BUS 10 to Linwood Ave. drops you right at the festival.
BIKE
and lock it up on bike racks at entrance of beer garden on festival site!
PARK in the 550 S Eaton St garage and take the FREE shuttle from 4-9pm.

GLOWBALL
w/ RUFUS ROUNDTREE & DA B’MORE BRASS FACTORY
After the parade finale join us back at Creative Alliance for the Glowball! The band kicks off at 9pm and performs two big sets with a full horn section – a super danceable mash up of Baltimore funk and New Orleans party music. The costume contest is happens between sets – win free tickets to The Patterson, date night packages and more!

 

We have been gearing up for the Lantern Parade all month with workshops at Creative Alliance and in the community. Hundreds of families, community groups, and artists have been readying their lanterns for the big day! We can’t wait to see all of their luminous creations this Satuday!
