This performance troupe brings together Latin American teens to encourage self-expression and promote team building through traditional Mexican and Latin American dance. The teens also perform service-learning projects that foster giving back to the community while planting new roots in Southeast Baltimore. As a dance team, they discuss and plan new community outreach events, which include free performances at churches and community centers, and engage community members in discussions about important topics.

Este grupo de danza reúne a adolescentes latinoamericanos para fomentar la autoexpresión y promover el trabajo en equipo a través de bailes tradicionales de México y América Latina. Asimismo, los jóvenes llevan a cabo proyectos de aprendizaje-servicio que impulsan el compromiso con la comunidad, al tiempo que echan nuevas raíces en el sureste de Baltimore. Como equipo de baile, planifican eventos de proyección comunitaria —que incluyen presentaciones gratuitas en iglesias y centros comunitarios— e invitan a los vecinos a dialogar sobre temas de importancia.
