While the history books credit men with the roaring twenties, women actually kept the spirits alive. Join us for a lively lecture, led by M. Bess Vincent, PhD, Senior Associate Dean for Strategy and Chief of Staff at the Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts & Sciences, as she pulls back the curtain on the unexpected heroes of the underground liquor trade. Sip on a classic, era-authentic featured cocktail upon arrival and step “behind the bar” for a quick, hands-on lesson to craft the perfect Prohibition-style drink.
