The show follows the familiar structure of the Dickens classic from the first “Bah Humbug” to “God Bless Us Everyone!” However, along the way it may turn out that Scrooge runs a Strip Club for Seniors in Miami or a Surf Shop in Akron. Marley played by Queen Elizabeth or Prince? Helen Keller playing the Ghost of Christmas Past? It all depends on the audience.
If you are exhausted by the thought of seeing “another Christmas Carol,” this version is unlike any you have ever seen before. If you cherish returning to the story of an “old, covetous sinner” finding repentance and redemption through love and charity, you will get all the classic moments of the original. And, either way, you will laugh like Fezziwig from start to finish.
If you love A Christmas Carol, if you hate A Christmas Carol, then Bah Humbug is for you!
