Running for the Arts – Baltimore Running Festival 2013
On October 12, nine Creative Alliance artists, board members, and staff are participating in the Baltimore Running Festival. We are running to raise awareness and funds for CA’s free youth education programs and our work to build a healthy, strong urban community through the arts.
Every year, Creative Alliance offers free art classes for over 1,500 Baltimore City children and gathers over 10,000 participants at our community-made events. CA’s Great Halloween Lantern Parade helped change once abandoned Patterson Park into Baltimore’s favorite backyard, and our model of arts-driven neighborhood development has gained international attention.
