Beth Fredrick, Don Palmer, John McLucas, Lee Bowers, and Rob Helfenbein host another spectacular progressive party! Enjoy an evening of live music, specialty cocktails and mocktails, heavy appetizers and desserts in three of Bolton Hill’s loveliest homes. Each house features a different extraordinary chanteuse who will perform 10-minutes of well-loved songs. Mix and mingle with our three performers Lezlie Harrison, Nakia Verner, and Kellie Welborn – for a night to remember!

Enjoy a stimulating evening in the historic Windsor Hills home of Bill Richards and artist Edna Kurtz Emmet. Bill is a co-founder of the Johns Hopkins Psychedelic Research Lab, and Edna is an educator and inspired painter. Weather permitting, stroll among their garden ponds with a waterfall. Discover the intersection of science and the mystical through Edna’s Icelandic-inspired new works. Afterwards you’ll be fascinated with the current studies on psilocybin in the U.S. and Europe and their potential impact on the medical treatment of depression and addiction. Participate in a fascinating conversation with Bill and Brian Richards. Buffet dinner, including delectable mushrooms (non-psychedelic) provided by Ariel of BMore Catered 2.

Kick back picnic style at the contemporary home of Joe Meyerhoff and Dawna Cobb. Surrounded by peaceful gardens, fields and woods, take in their collection of framed art posters, paintings (several by local artists), masks, and pottery. Meet designer/artist/ activist Bridget Parlato, aka “The RecyQueen,” for an environmental exhibition, including art-from-trash installations and sculptures, anti-litter campaign posters, and her newest endeavor - jewelry made from reclaimed and recycled materials! She’ll also perform her poem “Plastic Land” and talk about her work. Play lawn games, savor some summer BBQ from Jake’s Grill, the famous Falls Road BBQ joint, and just enjoy an easy, country evening.
