Creative Alliance Strategic Planning Request for Proposal (RFP)

Creative Alliance seeks a consultant to facilitate a strategic planning process for its Board of Trustees and staff over calendar year 2022 that yields a five-year strategic plan. The completed strategic plan should include a strong mission, vision, values, and priorities to guide the organization; clear and measurable year-over-year goals; identified programmatic and operational multi-year strategies; and board and staff-facing work plans. The plan should be informed by broad input from community stakeholders. Critical factors for success in this engagement include incorporation of our social justice and equity work into the planning process; input from key constituent groups; transparency, communication, and alignment with staff and Board members; and clarity in roles, expectations, and decision-making rights. 

Creative Alliance staff and Trustees need the space, time, capacity, and support to undertake an equity-focused, strategic planning process that lays out a multi-year vision, set of goals, and plan for the next five years. This plan should provide clarity and direction to Trustees, staff, and programming through a collaborative process that incorporates community input and data, centers our DEI and social justice work, and is grounded in an analysis of our landscape.

How to Submit a Proposal

Proposals are due electronically by 03/25/22 at 5pm EST to info@creativealliance.org; attn: Strategic Planning Committee

Questions can be directed to info@creativealliance.org before 03/01/22.

Proposals should include a cover letter, examples of previous work, a list of other strategic planning processes led, at least three references, and a simple outline of planned approach.
Consultants from diverse backgrounds are highly encouraged to submit a proposal.
