Join us for yoga in the park every Thursday from September 8th to October 3rd! Investigate the needs of our physical body and navigate various movement techniques in order to create our own movement ritual. A movement ritual is a simple routine you can perform regularly to relieve and calm your body, as well as enhance the connection between the brain and the body. The goal is for each participant to leave the session with a better understanding of movement styles that serve them best, as well as where within their daily life it is feasible to practice a movement ritual.
Focus on movements that strengthen the nervous system and release stored tensions in the body, leaving you feeling lighter and brighter. This gentle movement is suitable for all levels of experience and can be modified for your needs.
The park has plenty of space for social distancing. Please arrive with a mask on and wear it until you've fully set up for practice space. We will have hand sanitizer and extra masks on hand. If you would like to suggest additional accommodations, please share your suggestions with Grace Marshall or Creative Alliance. Come enjoy the sunset and fresh air while offering your body some TLC, you deserve it!
