Punch Needle is an easy-to-learn, versatile, embroidery technique that uses a pen-like tool with a hollow threaded needle tip to loop fibers into lovely piled designs. You can use a wide range of materials as a base cloth, various threads, yarn, or fibers for punching, and many design options to create pieces as small, ornamental motifs or large-scale wall or floor landscapes.

During this workshop, Learn some history of punch needle embroidery, how to stretch fabric on an embroidery hoop, and different techniques to create punch needle embroidery. Create a small punch needle piece to take home and leave with the knowledge to continue creating punch needle on your own!
Students need to bring a 4"or 5" diameter embroidery hoop - can be found at craft stores such as Michaels, Target, or A.C. Moore.
A punch needle kit and tools, as well as other additional supplies, are provided by the instructor!
