A night of Argentinian music with Sofía Viola, a singer whose sound drifts from tango to Andean roots.
You could describe Sofía Viola sound as Latin American soul. Bolero, cumbia, tango, and rock become one under her daring style. The Buenos Aires-born artist sings to earth, love, and life and has spent all her life with her guitar on her shoulder.
Her music will transport you to a colorful yet deep place, with a cheerful and somewhat torn sound; which, with only 29 years got her three published albums and a few smaller recordings. Sofía represents a lineage of singers that carry with the intensity of Latin America tradition, but with a modern and contemporary twist.
