Enjoy music, classic cocktails, and a swanky, seated dinner hosted by Neil Kahn and Jennifer Berk in their one-of-a-kind midcentury home. Located in a beautiful woodland setting and filled with an interesting and eclectic collection of African and fine arts, the house was designed by Charles Goodman, a famous modernist architect. Known for his landmark midcentury housing in the Washington, D.C. area and as the designer of D.C.’s original National Airport, Goodman believed in open floor plans that highlight their woodland settings and employ expanses of glass to take in the untouched nature outside. Commissioned and built in 1956, this home is a perfect manifestation of Goodman’s vision of “a new template for modern living” and one of just two Goodman-designed houses in Baltimore City.
