The Marquee Lounge, our bar restaurant inside the Creative Alliance, opens this Friday March 8, 5-11pm with a theme of BBQ & Blues. Stay for the blues show by Deanna Bogart, Blues Music Association (BMA) awardee 2008, 2009, 2010 and nominated by BMA in 2013 as Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year. 8pm.

The Evening’s Menu
Blackened catfish w/ old bay aioli , slow cooked greens, and sweet corn relish. 17

Hail to the Chef
In the kitchen is Executive Chef Jeremy Price. He’s all about a “farm to fork” fresh food menu. Look out also for the menu to feature some specials that pair with the show in our theater that night.

“Jeremy will be building even more relationships with Maryland farms and organic food providers to bring the best and widest selection of local, fresh ingredients to his cuisine,” says our Andre Mazelin who heads up our restaurant operations. “Of course, we’re not talking stuffy food here. True to the innovative, welcoming character of the Creative Alliance, the Marquee Lounge’s ‘local meets luxe’ menu will offer tantalizing comfort food that’s laid back, top-notch and even a bit swanky.”
