	Facilities

	Each artist or artist group participating in the Residency Program leases a unit on the second floor suitable for both living and working purposes. Each unit offers the following: Average 950-1050 square feet; one of the units is 1800sf Kitchen, slop sink, and bathroom facilities Generous loft space intended for storage Hi-speed wireless internet access Wiring for cable tv/internet access. Large windows providing ample natural light; several with magnificent views

	Fees

	Fees for the Residency Program are based on the sizes of the studios and usable loft space. Studios #1, 2, 4 and 5 average $595/month and studios #6-8 average $700/month. One of the studios is "double wide" and is approx. $1,100/month. Rates are subject to change. Units are metered separately and utilities are the individual responsibility of the resident artists.

	Neighborhood & Location

	Built in 1918, the Patterson Theater is a landmark building along Eastern Avenue in Highlandtown. The theater is just a few blocks from Patterson Park, an expansive green space at the heart of Southeast Baltimore, a diverse array of historic neighborhoods including Fells Point, Canton, Greektown, and Butchers Hill. Formerly a thriving, blue collar neighborhood of Poles, Germans, and Ukrainians, Highlandtown today is home to immigrant populations from Africa, Latin America and the Balkans, older residents maintaining the neighborhood’s traditions and character, and young artists and homeowners attracted by the inexpensive rents and real estate prices.
