Arriving from Mexico, Francisco “Paco” Loza and his brilliant, afforadble yarn paintings have been a summer mainstay since 2002, and an anchor for our international streetfest, SalsaPolkaLooza! Loza borrows his technique from the Huichol tribe with whom he has lived, and blends imagery from daily life in Mexico with whimsical fantasy. Loza exhibits alongside results of our free Arte en Estambre workshop for kids.
