The 36th Asbury Short Film Concert
An Evening of the World’s Best Short Films
Asbury Shorts is New York City’s longest running short film exhibition and touring event. The producers will present an eclectic and entertaining program of independently produced shorts at Creative Alliance, specially selected from the world’s top film festivals. This is a rare opportunity for the general public to see internationally honored shorts on a real cinema screen as opposed to computers, smart phones or YouTube. Oscar Nominees, “Best of Show” winners from US festivals and global honorees will be included in this fast-paced and often hilarious showcase featuring the best in Comedy, Drama and outstanding Animation.
Asbury Short’s mission is to keep award winning short films in theaters and public spaces. Our short film “concerts” have taken place at such prestigious venues as: The Director’s Guild Theater in Manhattan; The AERO Theatre in Los Angeles; The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; The Lake Shore Theater in Chicago; Cinema Arts Center in Huntington, NY; Royal Festival Hall in London, UK; The Leminske Theater in Berlin and Summer Stage in Central Park… to name just a few.
Longtime sponsor, Verde Pizza, has partnered with Asbury Shorts to offer a Dinner & a Movie Deal! Dine at Verde Pizza on March 16th and receive $10 off your ticket per diner! That means Creative Alliance members can see the show for free and non-members for only $3! Just bring your Verde Pizza receipt to the ticket counter for this amazing, one night only deal!
