Jack Moore, aka El Suprimo, spins soul jazz in our sexy bar-restaurant! You can expect very deep cuts off many rare and classic LPs from Moore's extensive private record collection. Sip half-priced bottles of wine from the bar to Django Reinhardt, Grant Green, Kenny Burrell, Elvin Jones, Charles Mingus, Chet Baker, Donald Byrd, Lee Morgan, Art Blakey, Kenny Dorham, Hank Mobley, Gabor Szabo, Sonny Rollins, Max Roach, Charlie Parker, Yusef Lateef, Thelonious Monk, Jackie McLean, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday and many more. 7-10pm. In Clementine at the Creative Alliance.
Moore's collection "boasts records from...all corners of the world, and though the genres he enjoys run the gamut of styles, one thing connects them all—authenticity."
