11AM-NOON: Meet at Patterson Park Library or Southeast Anchor Library and join a lively Day of the Dead procession to Creative Alliance! NOON-1PM: Arts & Crafts w/ Papel Picado, face painting, tissue paper and corn husk flower making and more!
1:15-2PM: Live music w/ Mariachi Garibaldi & Danza Azteca
2:15-2:30PM: Altar Ceremony w/ hot chocolate and Day of the Dead bread.
Sugar Skull Workshop

Did you know sugar skulls were once actual skulls honoring a soul as it entered into its next stage in life? Learn folkloric art and indigenus history while making your own Día de los Muertos sugar skull. Workshop is led by award-winning Artesanas Mexicanas and master artist, Alejandra Martinez.
